CASPER
ADORABLE TURKISH ANGORA
3.5 YEARS OLD, MALE
He was found at a feeding station 14 days ago at a in JVT in an extremely poor state. He was scanned for a microchip and taken to the vet, which most likely saved his life. He is a very friendly boy with a vaccination record and a previous owner.
Owner was contacted but not interested. As it turned out she handed over his vaccination book and signed that we could treat him - not wanting him back. He was found intact, anaemic, riddled with fleas, FIV positive, FeLV negative & Parvo virus negative. His blood test showed low micro plasma amongst other things. His mouth was so bad that he had to have 4 teeth pulled out and he was having seizures.
The vet believes he was used as a breeding cat, when he got sick - he was dumped. How he got from Al Barsha to JVT and how long he had been on the streets only Casper knows. For some time even the vet did not know if he would pull through. Generous donations from the community sent Casper on the road to recovery and he is recovering slowly. Despite his rough start in life, he has not lost his faith in humans and has turned out to be a very friendly cat who likes to cuddle and eat.
I am seeking a foster/forever home for Casper quickly as he will most likely be released from the vet early next week (he still needs surgery and a second blood test) - there is no adoption fee on him but he comes with conditions:
He will be an indoor cat for the rest of his life. NO outdoor roaming for him as he cannot be with other cats due to his FIV+ condition.
He needs to be the only cat in the house - unless you have other cats with the same diagnosis.
You will fuss over him and make him feel loved every single day.
If you, for some reason (no judgement), cannot house him anymore you will give me 30 days to find an alternative.
Casper has been signed over to me - his forever owner will take over the ownership when he has adjusted and settled down.
He comes with all the bells and whistles: food, litter, litterbox, bed, scratch pole, bowls, toys, brush and medication - and all the support you need from me to get him settled.
FOSTERING: ALL food, litter and meds are provided during his stay.
ADOPTION: ALL food, litter and meds will be provided until I am sure he has settled and is happy - then adopter will take over the cost and he will be assigned to you as his forever person.
Help Casper with the home and life he truly deserves.
